As per the international standards, Caribbean Islands are rich in natural resources and are situated to the South-east of North America, to the East of Central America and to the North of South America. All economies of the Caribbean islands are generally open to free trade, while their export bases are fairly limited and there are many islands who are beginning to diversify their industries. Eggplant, bananas, sugar„ and flowers are exported from many islands, also there are other crops that are still grown exclusively for domestic use. Sugarcane is grown on a large scale throughout Caribbean countries.
