Important Notes:

  • Ensure all documents are clear, legible, and not altered.
  • Check the specific requirements and guidelines issued by the Indian embassy or consulate in your country.
  • The visa application process may take several weeks, so apply well in advance of your intended travel date.
  • Keep a copy of all submitted documents for your records.
  • Visa requirements and processing times may vary based on your nationality.
Valid Passport

Your passport is your primary travel document, and it must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned entry into India. Please ensure it has enough blank pages for visa stamps.

Completed Visa Application Form

Fill out the online visa application form accurately and legibly. It is essential to provide truthful and consistent information as any discrepancies may lead to delays or rejections.

Passport-Sized Photographs

Attach recent color photographs with a white background to the visa application form. Check the specifications for size and other requirements set by the Indian embassy or consulate.

Proof of Travel Itinerary

Submit a detailed itinerary outlining your travel plans in India, including flight reservations, accommodation bookings, and the places you intend to visit.

Financial Documents

Demonstrate your ability to cover the costs of your trip by providing proof of sufficient funds. Bank statements, pay stubs, and/or sponsorship letters, depending on your situation, are some examples of acceptable documents.

Letter of Invitation (if applicable)

If you have been invited by someone in India, such as a friend, family member, or organization, include a letter of invitation along with their contact details and a brief explanation of your relationship with them.

No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Employer or School

If you are employed or studying, obtain a letter from your employer or educational institution stating that they have no objection to your travel to India.

Travel History (if applicable)

If you have traveled to other countries in the past, provide copies of visas and entry/exit stamps to demonstrate your travel history.

Additional Supporting Documents

Depending on the purpose of your visit, you may need to submit extra documents. For example, if you’re attending a conference, provide a letter of invitation from the conference organizer.

Medical and Travel Insurance

While not mandatory, having travel and medical insurance for the duration of your stay in India is highly recommended.

Our Process

1

Determine Visa Type

Identify the appropriate visa type based on the purpose of your visit. The most common visa types for tourists are the e-Tourist Visa (eTV) and the Tourist Visa. If you are visiting for other purposes, such as business or visiting family, you may need to apply for a different visa category.

2

Complete Application

For most visit visas to India, the application process is online. Visit the official Indian visa website and complete the visa application form (also known as the Visa Application and Appointment System). Provide accurate information about your personal details, travel itinerary, and purpose of the visit.

3

Gather Required Documents

Prepare the necessary documents to support your application. Commonly required documents include: Passport, Photograph, Travel Itinerary and Proof of Sufficient Funds. Additional Documents: Depending on the visa type, you may need to submit extra documents, such as an invitation letter for a business visa or a letter from an Indian host for a visit visa.

4

Visa Fee Payment

Pay the appropriate visa fee online using the available payment options. Visa fees vary based on the visa type and nationality of the applicant.

5

Schedule an Appointment

Once you have completed the online application and paid the visa fee, schedule an appointment at the Indian consulate or embassy nearest to your location. Some visa categories may not require an in-person appointment, and you can proceed with the application process entirely online. If your visa category demands an interview, attend the scheduled appointment at the designated Indian mission.

6

Get Visa

After the visa officer assesses your application, you will receive a decision on your visa. If approved, your India visit visa will be stamped in your passport. Double-check the visa details for accuracy. Now, you are all set to explore the beauty and wonder that India has to offer!
